SWEET TART FRUIT 2 cups dried apricots Combine fruit and juice in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes until fruit is plumped. Stir in almond extract and almonds. Serve at any temperature. Serve for breakfast, as a side dish or as a dessert. Serves 6 to 8. |
