1/4 cup oat groats
1/4 cup brown rice blend or short brown rice
1/4 cup quinoa
1/4 cup hulled or pearl barley
3 tablespoons wild rice
1 tablespoon amaranth
2 tablespoons corn grits
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups water

Combine all ingredients in a 1-1/2 quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours. Serve warm with honey and milk. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Serves 6 to 8.
