10 to 12 ounces summer sausage sliced and quartered or 10 ounces dry chorizo, sliced
1 can (14 ounces) chopped spinach, drained
1 can (15 ounces) potatoes, drained and coarsely mashed
1 can (14 ounces) low-sodium chicken broth
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk (not fat free)
2 tablespoons dried chives
1/4 teaspoon dried minced garlic

Brown sliced sausage in a Dutch oven. Stir in remaining ingredients and heat through. Serves 4 to 6.
