1 can (29 ounces) yams, drained and cut into 1/2 slices or pieces
1 can (29 ounces) pear halves, drained and cut crosswise into 1/2 slices
1/2 cup maple flavored syrup

In an 8x12-inch greased baking pan, alternate rows of yams and pears using half of each. Top with alternating rows of the remaining yams and pears. Yams should be on top of pears and pears on top of yams. Pour syrup over the yams and pears. Bake at 350o for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
