KOOL-AID “JELLO”

1 package unsweetened drink mix such as Kool-Aid
1/2 cup sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
2 cups water, divided

In a 3 to 4 cup container, mix drink mix, sugar and gelatin with 1 cup water. Bring remaining cup of water to a boil. Pour into gelatin mixture and stir until everything is completely dissolved. Chill until set. Fruit, 3/4 cup to 1-1/2 cups, may be added either before chilling or when gelatin has thickened slightly.

FINGER “JELLO”
Make the “jello” with 2 packets of unflavored gelatin. Do not add fruit. When completely chilled and set, cut into bite-size squares to serve.
