Prepare ahead!

CHECK emergency supplies before a hurricane threatens.

LEAVE low-lying areas before the hurricane strikes.

LEAVE mobile homes.

SECURE outdoor objects or bring them inside.

STORE drinking water in all available containers.

CHECK battery-powered equipment for fresh batteries.

KEEP your car fueled.

STAY at home, if your home is sturdy and on high ground.

REMAIN indoors.

BEWARE of the eye of the hurricane. Stay inside unless emergency repairs are absolutely necessary.
