HOW TO COOK BROWN RICE

2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup long grain brown rice

Bring water and salt to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in rice. Cover; reduce heat to simmer. Cook 40 minutes or until water is absorbed. Makes 3 cups.
