“Gifts in a Jar” can easily be made from the following recipes. Check cooking instructions to determine whether some of the ingredients should be packaged separately. Those ingredients put in a small bag can be put in the top of the container before it is closed or attached to the outside with a ribbon. Some recipe’s ingredients can be layered, such as Pantry Soup Mix, to give visual flair to your gift. Be sure to attach cooking instructions and/or suggested ways to use your gift.

Additional recipes can be used as gifts by packaging the dry ingredients and adding the canned ingredients to them in a gift basket. See "Dinner in a Basket."
