BAKED BEANS (from Pantry Cooking)

2 cans (16 ounces each) pork and beans
1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained or 2 cups cooked pinto beans
1/3 cup catsup
1/3 cup molasses
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons dried onion
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/3 cup bacon flavored bits (or lay strips of bacon on top)

Thoroughly mix all ingredients. Pour into a 2-1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered, at 350o for 1-1/2 hours.

OR Bake in a solar box oven for 6 hours (longer for drier beans).
